The story behind Quintaum

Our story is hidden in Quintaum name. The word “quintessential” represents the most perfect, the superior. The term “AUM” refers to the “Assets Under Management” in finance and in Hindu “AUM” represents the sound of infinitive and of the entire Universe. To reach this state you need to balance Earth, Air, Fire and Water and a putative fifth element – “quinta essentia”, that was believed to be superior, and so, “quintessential.”

In other words, Quintaum means that the superior, the best, the quintessential asset of all and any organizations, communities and nations are – The People.

Therefore, we invite you to increase the awareness of your Life Pulses and to take back the control of your life!

Why time in nature is essential for your energy?

Helen Keller, an iconic American author and educator of the 20th-century, has said that to her “a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the most luxurious Persian rug.”

Indeed, as human beings, we have always been connected to nature—with the beautiful blue seas and sandy beaches, the green forests and misty mountains. You are essentially part of nature, continually learning from it and evolving with it; therefore keeping a distance from nature is like breaking up with parts and aspects of yourself.

The evidence for the benefits of nature on mental and physical health are numerous, and here are some of them:

More than that, nature is essentially good for your personal energy as a whole. To dig deeper on this aspect, we have reached out to Urška Henigman from EKVILIBRIUM, who has achieved top Quintaum scores for her Energy Levels, perhaps all because she spends well enough time in nature. Below is how she describes the significance of nature in relation to personal energy and lifestyle.

For me, nature is a place of the deepest relaxation and regeneration. When I hike to the mountains, breathing and sweating, my mind becomes more and more clear, my heart becomes more and more open, and on the top, my perspective is different–literally and figuratively. I often transform my mood that way, rejuvenate my body and get some fresh ideas. I often say that the mountains are my best medicine.

Nature is also the greatest teacher of life. I am over and over again enchanted when I see how in nature everything is circular; nothing is wasted, everything changes the form when the time comes. Just look at the trees! A tree never pushes its leaves in the spring to grow faster and it’s not afraid to let them go in the autumn, right? The tree knows when it’s time to bloom and when it’s time to rest. And it just goes with the flow. There is always this exchange of cycles, of birthing and dying in nature. Our life is driven by the same principles. But we often want to keep the phase of growth and expansion no matter of the price and we refuse the phase of slowing down, resting and letting go. We want to be young forever, we want to be productive 24/7, and we want to always be happy and shiny. This is not natural, in fact, this is the most dangerous trap of the modern mindset we can easily get caught in. So, being really present and conscious in nature can slowly change our perception of life and our lifestyle drastically. — Urška from EKVILIBRIUM
